9 Things to do in Bowling Green Kentucky

If your thinking of moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky and want to find out what there is to do around town. Stick around, were going to be going through right now!

Corvette Museum/NCM Motorsports Park

The Corvette Museum has been main stay of Bowling Green for many years.  Since 1981 every Corvette in the world has been built in Bowling Green at the General Motors Assembly Plant. One thing I just found out recently that I think is pretty cool is that they actually hire a professional photographer to take photos of every phase of the assembly process where when you buy it you have a scrapbook for it. But the Museum has been around since 1994 and pretty great for any car enthusiast. They show you corvettes from every era. They have alot of hands on activities for kids, plenty of shops and even have a 50s themes cafe.  But another thing right outside of the actual museum is their racetrack. Which is a 3 mile track and they allow you to get behind the wheel of a Corvette for a test drive!

Lost River Cave This place is truly a diamond in the rough. It is a 7 mi cave system which has a fantastic underground boat tour as well as zip lining. But that's not all, Lost River also has over a couple of miles of nature trails butterfly habitat and is one of the largest nature parks in the area.

Chaneys Dairy Farm. Fantastic farmland, kids playground, and the best ice cream I've ever had! I've taken the tour with my kids field trips a couple of times and it is fantastic! They go over how the entire process works and how humane this farm is to the Jersey cows by using state of the art technology with robotic milkers and giving the cows the choice to get milked and not being forced to do anything They don't want to do. Also they have a fantastic cafe where you can have lunch with a full menu.

Historic Rail Park and Train Museum. This historic landmark is very well done museum and tour that takes you back in history where traveling by train was the only way to go. You take this tour and makes you feel like you're back in the Early 20th century. This is the perfect tour to go on for families as well as any type of history buff.

Fountain Square Park The fence were a park has a long history in Bowling Green dating back new 200 years, now it is the heart of the city where many festivals and events take place. But outside of that it is a fantastic place to sit in a peaceful area, listen to the fountain that is surrounded by shops and restaurants and just enjoy yourself.

Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon.  This place is one of the most underrated parks in the South. It has an amazing amusement park that rivals Holiday world, it has a water park that like pplNashville shores as well as a fantastic race track and campground.
